Mary Cormack

Mary has been involved in theatre from the moment she could box-step. Under the guidance of her mum, ‘Disco Jan’ and her family-run school of performing arts in Buckinghamshire, Mary was immersed in the world of theatrics.

Not one to be outdone, Mary went on to train at three different theatre schools, including Tring Park, LAMDA and Guildford School of Acting. After graduating, she was cast in the new version of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and, firmly ensconced in the peasant/wench casting bracket, went on to perform in Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre. She was also recently seen styling mud and corsets in the Les Miserables feature film.

She has dabbled in running and DJ’ing her own club night in Dalston, named ‘Dutty’, before realising she spent longer planning her outfit than the club night itself. Think 1980’s Blitz era. (Most recently a Carmen Miranda-inspired fruit hat.)

Mary is the social media & digital guru at DR5 and makes a mean 'cuppa' too. Whether it’s a hash tag, GIF a ‘like’ or a facebook trend, Mary’s your gal.
